Velvet Apple is promoted by Hoteliers, hence they understand the minuteness of the Business. Our CEO - Mr. Sangeet Seth in his last job was Director - Revenue Management and Electronic Marketing for 10 years at the corporate office of Oberoi Group.
In year 2000 he launched Online Hotel Reservation Pvt. Ltd (OHR), with the objective to act as an outsource company on electronic channel distribution and revenue management for non- branded hotels. Today OHR boasts of 150 hotels on its platform worldwide. OHR is also first Indian reservation company to own it own chain code "CK" and launch its own soft brand blaCKpepper Hotels
For the past 10 years he has been consultant to chains like - Taj Group, The Leela, The Park, ITC Group, Fortune Hotels, Elite Hotels Bahrain, and Kurumba Maldives on Electronic Marketing, Revenue Management and Sales. He is also visiting faculty at Radisson School of hotel Management.
In the year 2009, he launched Velvet Apple Hotels in GK-1 with the objective to provide simple yet elegant stay to travellers. At Velvet Apple Hotels, most important part is Experience, whether it is from room or services. Each factor is looked into minutely. With his experience of consulting with cross section of hotels, we always strive for higher level of guest satisfaction.
Velvet Apple Hotel in its past one year of operation, has earned a lot of appreciation with both Corporate as well as Leisure travellers. With most focused sales team, world class electronic distribution support systems, central reservation systems & domestic sales offices, we have been able to maintain our revenue streams without compromising on quality of rooms and services. This has been possible due to innovative management techniques, decentralized approach, empowerment to teams, revenue management techniques, aggressive sales and marketing approach and back up from leading provider on e-distribution OHR. We are constantly researching to explore the changing needs of our guests and implement the same in best possible way. |
